Tony is 55 years of age, married with two grown up children.
He retired in 1998 after 29 years service in the Lancashire Constabulary,
mostly on the Mounted Branch, finishing his career in the
Research and Development Department at force HQ.

He works on a voluntary basis as Church Warden and Assistant Treasurer
for the Preston Parish Church.
A genealogist and member of the national Police History Society,
he has been researching police, family and local history
for over 20 years and he has been involved with
research for the Police Roll of Honour Trust since the project
was formalised in 1995.
